The art of making wine in Jerzu has its roots in the twelfth century. Antichi Poderi di Jerzu is a cooperative with 430 wine-growing members. The farms are located on gentle slopes that from the Gennargentu mountains lead to the sea, to the white sands and the sea of a thousand colors. The climatic condition allows to obtain grapes with intense aromas and excellent natural strength.
This Cannnonau Riserva, with an intense garnet red color, with good fluidity, has a bouquet of ripe blackberries and toasted almonds, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla.
The warm, spicy, pleasantly tannic flavor is accompanied by roasted meat, game, braised meat and aged cheeses.
