FASTPRIMExpress has added a transport service point capable of managing food shipments both at temperature and controlled temperature, to export the excellence of "Made in Italy" to the world.

The FASTPRIMExpress uses sector-specific transport processes and procedures and provides a self-control manual based on the principles of HACCP and validated by RINA SERVICES.

FASTPRIMExpress can use non-perishable food products (eg dry, canned products, preserves, oil, chocolate, coffee etc.).

The transport of food products at controlled temperatures must have a maximum transport time of 3 calendar days and must be charged in full according to the characteristics of the product.

The following are excluded: milk and milk-based drinks / cream, ice cream, fresh cheeses (e.g. mozzarella, stracchino, ricotta), butter, fresh meat or derivatives, eggs, fresh fish products, edible molluscs (e.g. oysters, clams ).

SHIPPING TO PRIVATE RECIPIENTS

In this case, food products must be prepared and packaged in an industrial way (duly packaged and labeled) and be in reasonably limited quantities, for personal use.

QUALITY AND SAFETY

FPExpress operates in compliance with current hygiene and health regulations, and adopts a self-control manual based on the principles of the HACCP system, with the aim of achieving a higher level of safety in food transport.

In line with this objective, DHL has chosen to start and maintain a validation process for food transportation in collaboration with RINA SERVICES S.p.A.

For shipments more sensitive to temperature variations, DHL offers a range of packaging suitable for the transport of food at controlled temperatures, which guarantee the maintenance of the most suitable thermal condition and contribute to the correct conservation of the products transported.

DEDICATED MONITORING

For the transport of perishable food, DHL Express provides an even more careful and scrupulous air express transport solution, through the activation of a dedicated monitoring service.
